Prior to becoming the owner and primary caregiver at See Spot Run Pet Sitting, I spent the majority of my career in technical writing, training, and process improvement at prominent corporations and non-profits in San Antonio. After a prolonged illness required me to make adjustments to my demanding work schedule, I reevaluated my professional path.

I had spent years helping lost, stray, and unwanted dogs and cats by helping to spay and neuter, capture and release, and re-home both adults and litters. By witnessing and hearing such tales and those of some of the rescues who became my own pets, friends knew they could rely on me to take care of their fur family when they were out of town.

When I started to consider the changes I would make to my life to capitalize on my strengths instead of just mitigate my limitations, I realized I could leverage my personal experience caring for pets to develop a pet services company that reflected my personal dedication and met my high standards of care. Thus, See Spot Run Pet Sitting was born. As a bonus, working with pets would allow me to have the happiness, structure, and care I provide to be reflected back to me. This rejuvenating aspect of working with pets allows me to offer full service dog-walking and pet sitting without compromising quality.
